Special wheel guides is another important and inexpensive component of a loading terminal. Wheel guides enable quick and accurate parking of cargo trucks that prevents damage of the building facade, dock leveler, dock shelter and the truck itself. They are mounted on a roadway in front of the ramp and are made of steel tubes, which have diameter of approx. 160 mm, with sufficiently thick walls. Wheel guides are anchored by the special fixing plates to prepared concrete platforms or are embedded in concrete. Upon the customer's request supporting embedded fittings can be supplied beforehand.
