Aluminum profiles are manufactured at one of production enterprises of the Alutech Group, AluminTechno.

The enterprise has the complete cycle of producing extruded profiles. This allows to control quality of manufactured products at all production stages. The production cycle includes the following stages:

• moulding of ingots;
• profile pressing;
• surface finishing in the coating and anodic treatment shop.

Procedure for placing an order for the profiles based on customer’s drawings

To evaluate the possibility of production of the profile on the capacities of the plant and prepare the commercial offer it is required to submit the drawing of the profiles with specified dimensions, face surfaces (for coated and anodized profiles), or a profile sample if the drawing is unavailable.

Mastering of the profile on the basis of customer’s drawings suggests R&D work including preparation of design documentation, manufacture of tools (die or a set of dies), its extrusion and finishing, manufacture of preproduction sample.

Usually it takes 7-8 weeks from signing R&D work agreement to delivery of the preproduction sample. Delivery period of the profiles when there is agreed preproduction sample available: within 3-4 weeks after the order is placed.

Aluminum profiles are made from EN AW-6060, EN AW-6063 alloys. Since the company has its own foundry shop the profiles can be made of different alloys. In this case, the one-time order volume should be at least 10 tons.

Possible profile length depending on the surface treatment technique:

• without treatment (mill finish): 3 – 7 m,
• powder coated: 4 – 7 m,
• anodized without additional mechanical treatment (Е6): 3 – 7 m,
• anodized with additional mechanical treatment (D6): 4 – 7 m,
• anodized with additional mechanical polishing treatment (E3): 4 – 6 m.

The profile is supplied in linear meters in the amount divisible by packing standards. Minimum single order for shipment is 500 kg for every type of the profile with minimum annual consumption 5 t.

Profiles’ safety during handling operations and transportation is ensured by their package: the profiles are interlaid with PE foam, wrapped into stretch film and packed into two layers of bubble film.
